Trip Overview

The Nubra–Pangong–Hanle–Umling La circuit is one of Ladakh’s most adventurous and scenic road journeys. Starting from Nubra Valley, travelers pass through Khardung La, one of the world’s highest motorable passes, to reach a desert valley surrounded by snow-covered peaks. Nubra is known for its sand dunes, double-humped camels, and ancient monasteries in villages like Hunder, Diskit, and Turtuk.

Next, the journey continues to Pangong Lake, a breathtaking high-altitude lake that stretches into Tibet. Its crystal-clear waters change color throughout the day, making it a photographer’s paradise. From Pangong, the route heads deep into the Changthang region to reach Hanle, a peaceful and remote village known for its Indian Astronomical Observatory and crystal-clear night skies, ideal for stargazing.

The final leg of the journey leads to Umling La Top, the world’s highest motorable road at over 19,000 feet. Surrounded by barren mountains and vast valleys, reaching Umling La is a major accomplishment and the highlight of the trip. This entire route offers unmatched natural beauty, extreme altitudes, and a raw Ladakhi experience best explored between June and September.

Cancellation Policy

No Refund shall be made with the initial booking amount for any cancellations. However,

Unforeseen Circumstances :
No compensation for cancellations due to Acts of God, Natural or man-made disasters, technical issues, road/airport closures, adverse weather, or any event beyond our control.

Organizer Cancellations :

In case of event cancellation due to low enrollment or external factors, we will offer alternate events or a full refund (excluding transportation cancellation charges). Refunds will be processed within two weeks via bank transfer.

Traveller Cancellations :

If cancellations are made 30 days before the date of travel then 25% of the total trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees
If cancellations are made 15 days to 30 days before the date of travel then 50% of the total trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees
If cancellations are made 0 days to 15 days before the date of travel then 100% of the total trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees
The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days.
