🌳  Andharban: The Dark Forest Trek

Andharban, meaning “Dark Forest,” offers a surreal trek through dense green jungles, mist-covered paths, and valley views. It’s a descending trail that feels magical during the monsoon, with clouds drifting through trees and streams cutting across the path. The route overlooks the Tamhini Ghat and is known for its peaceful, otherworldly atmosphere.

💧 Devkund Waterfall: Hidden Blue Pool

Devkund is a stunning plunge waterfall tucked deep in the forest near Bhira. After a moderate trek through forest trails and streams, you’re rewarded with a milky white fall crashing into a crystal-blue pool. It’s a monsoon favorite for its dramatic beauty and Instagram-worthy setting—serene, powerful, and refreshing.

🪨 Secret Cliff: Hidden Viewpoint Delight

Often shared by locals and offbeat explorers, the “Secret Cliff” near this region offers jaw-dropping valley views without the usual tourist crowd. 🏰 Lohagad Fort: Easy Trek, Epic Views

Lohagad is a well-preserved hill fort near Lonavala, perfect for beginners and weekend trekkers. The stone steps lead you through history, with bastions, gates, and the iconic Vinchu Kata (Scorpion’s Tail) ridge offering panoramic views of the surrounding hills and Pawna Lake. It’s accessible year-round, but monsoon adds lush charm.

 

 

Itinerary

  • Arrive at Pune Railway Station in the morning
  • Drive to base village and begin Andharban Trek (13 km, 6–7 hours)
  • Walk through thick monsoon forest, waterfalls, mist & valleys
  • Transfer to nearby homestay (4 km drive)
  • Enjoy warm homemade dinner & overnight stay
  • Early wake-up & breakfast
  • Start trek to Devkund Falls (11 km to & fro)
  • Spend time at the waterfall and click pictures
  • Proceed to the cliff jumping point (activity optional & at your own cost)
  • Return to homestay
  • Dinner and overnight stay
  • Start the day with a short hike to Lohagad Fort (~1 hour climb)
  • Explore the historical fort and scenic surroundings
  • Drive back to Pune Railway Station
  • Board your return train in the evening

Cancellation Policy

No Refund shall be made with the initial booking amount for any cancellations. However,

Unforeseen Circumstances :
No compensation for cancellations due to Acts of God, Natural or man-made disasters, technical issues, road/airport closures, adverse weather, or any event beyond our control.

Organizer Cancellations :

In case of event cancellation due to low enrollment or external factors, we will offer alternate events or a full refund (excluding transportation cancellation charges). Refunds will be processed within two weeks via bank transfer.

Traveller Cancellations :

If cancellations are made 30 days before the date of travel then 25% of the total trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees
If cancellations are made 15 days to 30 days before the date of travel then 50% of the total trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees
If cancellations are made 0 days to 15 days before the date of travel then 100% of the total trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees
The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days.
