Cancellations and Refund Policy

Please review our cancellation and refund policy carefully to understand your rights and obligations regarding trip bookings with Backpackers Hyderabad. By booking a trip with us, you agree to these terms.

1. No Refund on Initial Booking Amount

  • The initial booking amount is non-refundable in the event of cancellation by the traveler.

2. Cancellations and Postponements by Backpackers Hyderabad

Backpackers Hyderabad reserves the right to cancel or postpone an event under certain circumstances, including:

  • Minimum Participants Not Met: If fewer than 8 travelers have registered for the event.

  • External Factors: Such as natural hazards (rain, earthquake, landslides), strikes, bandhs, viral outbreaks, curfews, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

In the event that Backpackers Hyderabad cancels the trip, you will be informed about alternative trips. You may choose to:

  • Switch to Another Event: You can opt to transfer to another event where seats are available.

  • Full Refund: You may choose to cancel, and a full refund will be issued. Please note that any transportation cancellation charges will be deducted from the refund.

Refunds will be processed within two weeks on business days via bank transfer only to the original payer.

3. Cancellation by the Traveler (You)

  • Cancellations Within 48 Hours of the Event: No refund will be provided for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event start time. Last-minute cancellations due to work, health issues, or other personal reasons will not be eligible for a refund or ticket transfer.

  • Cancellations 3-6 Days Before the Event: You can transfer your booking to a friend or family member if you cannot attend. We welcome them to join the event and hope you can save your hard-earned money.

  • Cancellations 7 Days or More Before the Event: You are eligible for a 50% refund of the total trip amount. Payment gateway charges will be deducted from the refund. Refunds will be processed within two weeks on business days via bank transfer only to the original payer.
